Off Licence is exploring the gripping story of a young man's attempted robbery and the profound societal issues behind his decision. The film delves into themes such as drug abuse, crime, and mental health, shedding light on the struggles faced by individuals in desperate need of money and the chaotic consequences of our influences and decisions.
The troubled young man, embarks on a desperate journey to obtain the funds he requires, but as he enters the Off Licence, his troubles follow him, and the narrative intensifies within the walls of the shop. The film aims to offer a thought-provoking commentary on the interconnectedness of personal and societal issues and their impact on certain lives.
During the pre-production phase, the team has undertaken various tasks, including experimentation, mood boards, posters, set designing, location scouting, casting calls, and professional outreach. Additionally, comprehensive risk assessments have been conducted to ensure a safe and efficient production process.
Our short film promises to be an impactful and thought-provoking project, immersing the audience in a raw exploration of a young man and the consequences towards someone who is driven to extreme measures.
